Johor Bahru, which mean “New Johor” is the capital city of the Johor state in Malaysia, which is just north of Singapore, across from the border.
Johor Bahru was founded in 1855 as “Tanjung Puteri”, and later renamed to its current name in 1862.
From delicious local street food scene, to hours of shopping at premium malls, and great fun for children at various theme parks etc, Johor Bahru offers plenty of delightful activities for visitors of all ages.
